Academics

An Enriched Academic Framework Beyond National Benchmarks

Advanced STEM specialization, experiential lab learning, advanced programming languages, AI-driven computing, and university-aligned coursework.

Curriculum

Key Pillars of Our Curriculum

  • Enriched National Framework: We fulfill the national standard covering over 300 core chapters across Grades 9–12, by enriching textbooks and modules.
  • Institutional Standard Note: Though AP and IB diplomas are not offered, our curriculum meets equivalent academic rigor through specialized college-level enriched textbooks.
  • Advanced Computing & Security: In partnership with Kelem Meda Technologies, our IT sequence features AI, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Object-Oriented Programming, and full-stack software development.
  • Multilingual Fluency: English being medium of instruction, we offer four years of study three global languages: Arabic, Chinese, and French.
  • Modernized National Subjects: Aligned with the latest Ministry of Education standards, our 8-subject core integrates practical study in Agriculture.
  • Specialized Upper-Level Streams: Following a comprehensive sophomore foundation, students specialize in either the Natural Science or Social Science Streams starting in Grade 11.
  • A unique subject, Area Studies: Geopolitics of the Horn of Africa, is offered to all Natural and Social Science students.
  • Regional Strategic Context: All upper-level scholars complete Area Studies: Geopolitics of the Horn of Africa to build deep political, economic, and regional awareness.

IT, Maths & Physics

Ahead of the national standard

While the national curriculum ends with Calculus I in Grade 12, our specialized STEM track incorporates early college-level acceleration across mathematics, physics, and modern computer science.

Mathematics

  • Calculus II & III: Integration techniques, infinite sequences and series.
  • multivariable calculus, vector calculus, and spatial applications.
  • Linear Algebra: Matrices, determinants, systems of linear
  • equations, vector spaces, and eigenvalues/eigenvectors.

Physics

  • Mechanics II: 2D/3D kinematics, work-energy theorems, momentum, and rotational dynamics.
  • Electricity & Magnetism I: Coulomb’s law, electric fields, Gauss’s law, and DC circuits.
  • Modern Physics: Principles of special relativity, atomic structure, and quantum phenomena.

COMPUTING & IT

  • Programming & Software Development: Core Python programming, algorithm design, artificial intelligence fundamentals, and machine learning architectures.

Purpose: Prepares students for top-tier global university STEM degree programs, honing advanced analytical reasoning, computational thinking, and complex problem-solving abilities.

Laboratory-Supported Subjects

PRACTICAL & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Demonstrating our commitment to practical science and technology, laboratory work makes up 25% of the evaluation in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and IT. Complementing this, our STEMpower Center trains students in project-based robotics, 3D design, and modern electronics.
